I think of myself as a modern celebrant. Younger than most, I have fresh ideas that bring vibrancy, excitement and the passion your occasion deserves. Old enough to appreciate the seriousness and importance of the occasion or step you are about to take.
Through the course of your life, a celebrant is needed time and time again. A good celebrant will become a trusted friend who you will disclose your dreams, feelings in intimate detail. I will become closer to you than some family members. Select a celebrant you feel comfortable with and can relate too.
Weddings My ceremonies are a celebration which reflects your personalities, dreams and love for each other. Ceremony wording is written for you, about you, proof read and approved by you. I believe the ceremony wording is the heart of a wedding. The words are your promises to each other and the foundation of your marriage.
The celebration afterwards should be interpersonal, more than seated people staring at each other across the room. Weddings should not cost a fortune and leave you to start life together in debt.
I understand you may be nervous but excited, petrified by public speaking, family politics are affecting your choices, or you may have limited funds, too much to organize with little or no time to plan. Not to mention wanting an outside ceremony BUT what if it rains? We will work together to overcome any or all of these issues.
Ceremony Decorations I have purchased many ceremony decorations because I appreciate the cost of these items. No point buying these for 4 hours use. I can supply items such as decorated arches, red carpet, Bali flags and umbrella’s, bamboo arbor, lanterns which line the aisle, bamboo teepee’s, signing table, ottoman cubes and benches. Together we will create a memorable ceremony that WOW’s your guests but leaves money in your pocket for the honeymoon or a house deposit. These decorations are suitable for other ceremonies too, not just weddings.
I can even organize a champagne service with canapés to enjoy when your guests congratulate you. Some couples choose this option rather than a costly reception. Maybe printed programs, rose petals or decorative signage to the location will add the personal touch.
You can select these additional items for an affordable fee, rather than buy your own. This provides my couples with a cost effective, all inclusive package for the ceremony. Set up, pull down and co-ordination of your music can be all part of the service.

Other Ceremonies Many people think celebrants only do weddings and funerals. In fact these are the two ceremonies we conduct the least, but they are highlighted and promoted due to the legal requirements.
In life we have many relationships. We should honour, praise, these special people, major achievements and milestones. Life is about living. Celebrate and be remembered for making a difference.
I conduct the following ceremonies: Naming ceremonies, Welcome to the Family, Renewal of Vows, Commitment, Coming of Age – 13, 18 & 21, Major Birthdays and Milestones, House Warming’s, Graduations, Bon Voyage, Wedding Anniversaries and Retirement celebrations. Why not retell history for a family reunion or have a “This is your life” ceremony.
On the other end of the scale, I have ceremonies for Divorce or to say “Sorry”. Your imagination are my only limits.
Where am I? I live in Warilla, which is near Shellharbour NSW, Wollongong, Kiama and all Suburbs within the Illawarra. However I will travel down the South Coast, to the Southern Highlands, Macarthur District, Sutherland Shire, Blue Mountains and Sydney Suburbs if requested. Additional travel costs may be incurred for distances of 100KM away from 2528.
Alternative Situations Are you a same sex couple? Are you in a hurry or wish to elope? I believe if you are lucky enough to find a person you want to spend the rest of your life with, and in years to come you still consider that person your best friend, you have had a fortunate and blessed life.

A translator can be provided for non English speaking clients and the convenience of their guests.Assistance is provided to the disabled, deaf, dumb or blind.
Ceremony settings can be designed especially for the disabled, ensuring easy access, comfort and respect. I suggested a disabled groom sit on a Japanese bench with his bride rather than sitting in his wheelchair and her standing. He cried after, as it made him feel normal again. He was proud to look his bride in the eye. Sitting next to her at that moment made him feel like a complete man.
