Your Wedding
This is your special day.
I will assist you to design your own ceremony using ideas and readings from my collections.
A marriage ceremony will usually contain the following elements:
- The Introduction - I have many choices or you may have your own ideas
- The Celebrants Authorisation - This is a legal requirement
- The Presentation - also known as ‘giving away’ and may involve one or both parents, any children, good friends, or all of the guests.
- The Asking
- The Vows - I will provide information on writing your own Vows
- The Ring Ceremony - may include a ‘ring warming’
- Other Ceremonies such as a ‘sand’, ‘candle’ or ‘wine’ ceremony
- Declaration of Marriage - always sparks applause
- Signing of the Register - an ideal photo shoot and
- The Presentation of the Married couple. – more applause
I will provide ideas on each of these elements for you to choose from, and in addition a booklet on writing your own vows.
Reading or poetry may also be an important part of your Wedding ceremony and often you will find family members, or friends who would love to dedicate a reading , poem or words of a song to the Bride and Groom as part of the Ceremony.
We can also include children in your ceremony, even as special Vows to children who will be part of the new family.
