We consider our ACCN products more practical to use and economical in the long-run.

One of the big differences is the Marriage Book vs Marriage Folder.
The Marriage Register book requires you handwrite your Form 16 copy into the book. The ACCN folder means you can type and print your own Form 16 and keep in your own loose leafed Register.
Advantages of using our folder and CD templates:

Folder is lighter to carry
•
Forms look more professional because information can be typed and checked by the couples, prior to signing on the day.
•
A second Form 16 (our copy) can be printed out too - so saves handwriting. When handwriting if you make a mistake. it looks messy ( no white-out allowed ! )
•
Loose leafed format is easier to photocopy/fax should you need to send a copy from your Register to a BDM
In case celebrants think the couples notice that the folder is not a book, Rona has not had one couple comment in 5 years that the folder was not a book.
If you are based in NSW #, the BDM supplies a CD with software (linked later online to upload marriage files) that means you can print most of what is in the Canprint pack yourself. We supply word files on CD for you to produce your own forms,

Queensland is the only state requiring the Long Paper, which the ACCN Celebrant Shop sells separately.

a Marriage Register Folder from us. This is because the NSW Births Deaths & Marriages (BDM) will provide you with a CD to enable you to register all your marriages on line. The CD can be used off line to provide all the forms you need, and thus a second Form 16 which can be used for your loose leafed Marriage Register. The NSW BDM are very helpful and supportive, so ensure you receive this CD and take a record of the 1800 Marriage Celebrant Help Line. As the BDM also lets the Registrar of Marriage know the errors NSW marriage celebrants make, it is always best to ask first rather than make mistakes, As we are doing their data entry for the, it is to their advantage that they assist us as much as possible. |
