Celebrant background: A varied career background to draw from - government, private and not for profit sectors. Involved with many funerals, weddings, naming and memorials whilst working for The Salvation Army
I am a travelling celebrant. I have a wonderfully restored vintage caravan that enables me to venture wherever your celebration takes place! Your day, your way
Why I'm a celebrant: I love, love. I believe all life milestones deserve to be celebrated. I enjoy using my wordsmith skills to write bespoke ceremonies/services that have you in mind. This isn’t a job to me. I receive so much joy assisting people to have a ceremony/service that represents them
Treasured memories: Helping a homeless couple marry in a park has been one of my highlights. As has writing and delivering a eulogy for a homeless man I knew for 15 years. Being able to bring his life story to those who had known him on a surface level, was a wonderful celebration of his life.
Tips : Your ceremony sets the scene for the occasion. Choose a celebrant that gets your vision, brings it alive and communicates clearly.
and I'd like to say: Watching a couple first lay eyes on each other at their wedding and spending those first few moments with them is a very privileged moment to share. Seeing a family moved by your words and touching their heart is something I never take for granted.
