Ceremonies By Michelle Boyd
Celebrant background: Currently Manager of over 55's retirement village in Tumut, previously worked in HR with a disability and aged care provider and prior to that administration background.
I've been involved in Toastmasters and received Toastmaster of the year for my public speaking 2019 and I'm a Foundation member of a local Theatre group that promotes performances and film production for young & old.
Why I'm a celebrant: Becoming a celebrant is such a privilege, to share in peoples most treasured moments in their life is something I dont take for granted! I feel I can interpret peoples wishes through listening and then creating a ceremony that makes them never forget their special day.
Treasured memories: Unforgetably bringing each of my children into this world and marrying my soul mate are treasured memories.
Tips : Do what makes you happy! It's YOUR special day!!
and I'd like to say: For me the Wedding ceremony is the most important part of a wedding day, sure a party is a great way to celebrate, but the words shared between you and your loved one during your ceremony are the most raw and vulnerable, which set the foundation to a loving commitment to each other.
