Celebrant background: I am a celebrant residing in Champion Lakes, Western Australia. I love love love celebrations (who doesn't)! Whether it's a wedding, vow renewal, baby naming or something different, I love officiating.
I have been a classroom teacher and deputy principal for over 25 year. I am a wife, mother, grandmother of many. My husband Geoff and I are SES members and love the community work that this involves. I love to travel, both within and outside Australia, and Geoff and I will sometimes combine our travel with multi-day hikes.

Why I'm a celebrant: I started thinking about becoming a celebrant when Geoff and I married over 12 years ago, as our celebrant did such an amazing job. Then when my daughter and her partner married, this prompted me to start thinking about this journey again. As I wasn't working full time, I had the time to complete the course and really enjoyed it. Love being a part of people's special days.
and I'd like to say: My celebrancy style is light, with humour and personal. I'll want to ask you many questions about how your relationship evolved, and really get to know who you are. Your ceremony will be completely personalised and you'll have the final say on what goes into your script. What I won't do is use any denigrating humour, and I won't swear. Just not my style.
