NEW SUBCRIPTION/ MEMBERSHIP SYSTEM
Hi ACCN financial members and non-members
We are in the final stages of implementing new software for managing our financial memberships and subscriptions for things such as copyright.
If you believe you are a financial member, and stop receiving Daily Digests and your Directory Listing has disappeared , then something is wrong.
Either we have made a mistake
or somehow your $$$ did not end up in our bank account.
Please contact me rona@accn.com.au if this is the case.

Would it be possible to send members automatic emails when their subscriptions are due?

We currently do have an automatic system.
Each member should receive a reminder 3 weeks before their membership is due. Then an email to say their listing has expired. You then have a month to renew at renewal rates.
Unfortunately
1. all emails are received by members do not necessarily get to you - some are bounced by ; some end-up in Spam/Junk folders, some arrive by are not read (celebrants are very busy)
2. all renewals need to be manually switched back on, and some mistakes can occur.
I don't like to lose any member, but we do not have the staff to follow-up.
Currently the way to check is:
You go to the Home Page,
put your surname in the Search Box,
click "Exact Phrase"
And click Search.
If your listing does not come up, then your membership has expired, or we've not reset you for the next year if you've recently paid.
Then New System will be a little more streamlined, in that you should be able to see your Renewal Date when you log in. However, I've held off a little as there has been a lot of other things happening, and I am considering a Annual Renewal Date for everyone.

I have just searched for my name and am rather dismayed to find it not there. I have been assuming that I was fully paid up, still a member and therefore advertising with this association. How do I rectify this please?
I paid my annual subscription in June 2010, assuming this would take me up to June 2011.
Could the admin team help me please?

Just checked for my listing per your suggested method and search came back with nil result. I assume then that I must have expired in the system (obviously when I wasn't looking). Could the admin team please advise best means to renew my subs and listing? Thought I should check considering current changes / upgrades happening with payment / renewal systems.

And Lena - we have no record of your ever joining the ACCN. Perhaps because you receive our free national e_magazine you've felt yourself a member. Many celebrants do. Unfortunately we need income to run the network, but you choose the level of service you need or want.
We would love to have you join our network. There are a number of celebrant plans - depending on whether your focus is on:

Some aspect may have changed a little for example the rose with pink leaves is now on ACCN and the rose with grey leaves is on ASKACELEBRANT .. but as the network is run mostly by myself as a volunteer, there's not been time to redo those as yet.
Any other questions about this network and why we take this approach, please feel free to ask here so other non-members can see how the ACCN is rather a unique approach in our aim to develop civil celebrancy as "A Profession" in the coming decades.
