Why I'm a celebrant: Hi! I'm Chris Bragg, and I'm thrilled to introduce myself as your dedicated Marriage Celebrant!

As your celebrant I am keen to get to know you in order to ensure your ceremony is unique to you, so in return it is important that you should know a little bit about me.

I was born and bred in the beautiful Illawarra, growing up in Kiama. After graduating University with a degree in Education, I was targeted to teach in the Mt Druitt area as my first position. So off I went to start my teaching career, with the intention of moving back home as soon as I could. Before I knew it, 18 years had passed and I had climbed through the ranks to be a Deputy Principal of a large school in Sydney’s Western Suburbs. Although this path has been tough at times, it has taught me about resilience, empathy and the ability to communicate and connect with people from all walks of life.

After being together for close to 20 years, I have been married since 2011 to my beautiful wife. Having had such a great experience on our own wedding day, it has inspired me to strive to provide amazing wedding experiences to others.

I have now reached my goal of both moving back to the Illawarra and dedicating myself and my skills to being an outstanding Celebrant!
