Members of The Celebrants Network Inc (TCN) have the option to purchase a CAL Copyright Agency Licence — a practical add‑on designed to support celebrants who regularly use published readings, poems, or excerpts in their ceremonies.
What the Licence Allows
The optional CAL licence provides legal permission to reproduce selected copyrighted materials for ceremony use, including:
- Poems, readings, and literary excerpts
- Short passages from books
- Limited song lyrics (within licence conditions)
- Other written works commonly included in ceremony scripts or printed booklets
This licence helps celebrants incorporate meaningful, personalised content while meeting Australian copyright requirements.
