Celebrant background: I am a funeral, family and marriage celebrant residing in Lake Macquarie NSW. Having worn a number of hats through my lifetime and experienced personal grief myself, it has all led me to where I am now. Right where I need to be for others.
When I meet with families I empathise with them but none of us can truly know what someone else is feeling or how they will grieve. I am truly aware of this and am here to hold a hand, give a hug or lend an ear.
Why I'm a celebrant: It is a gift and an honour to assist a family through some of their hardest times in farewelling a loved one.
We only have one chance to get it right and this is top of mind when I'm working on and planning a service with a family.
I love personalising a service and capturing the essence of a person. I want the family to walk away and feel that they've been heard and their loved one has been honoured in every way.

and I'd like to say: A funeral or memorial service is about giving passage to a loved one and honouring their memory. Regardless of whether it is in a chapel, a park, a club or a venue, I can assist in making it a special one.
