Celebrant background: I have been an authorised marriage celebrant since 2022 and am based in Engadine, NSW. Since then, I have had the privilege of creating meaningful, personalised ceremonies that reflect each couple's unique love story, values, and vision for their special day. I believe every ceremony should feel authentic, heartfelt, and memorable, celebrating not only the occasion itself but also the journey that brought two people together. In my experience, the journey is always more valuable than the destination.
Every couple is different, which is why I offer a flexible approach, whether you are looking for a simple legal ceremony or a personalised celebration that reflects your unique journey together. My intention is to create a warm, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere where you can feel fully present, connected, and supported on your special day.

Why I'm a celebrant: For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to seeing people happy, peaceful, and in a loving state. This passion has led me on a healing journey spanning more than a decade, helping to guide people back to health, wellbeing, and inner peace.
Becoming a celebrant felt like a natural extension of the work I already do and the values I hold close. It allows me to support people during one of the most meaningful moments of their lives, celebrating love, connection, and new beginnings.

Treasured memories: One of the greatest joys of being a celebrant is witnessing the unique moments that make each ceremony unforgettable. Often, they're the magical moments that weren't necessarily planned, but happen because the foundations are in place, allowing them to naturally unfold.
The smiles and joy at a wedding are infectious, and I thoroughly enjoy noticing the precious connections between loved ones, particularly the energy in the space as a couple comes together for their ceremony. It's palpable, emotional, and incredibly special.
I also love seeing children included in ceremonies, whether they eagerly embrace their important role, steal the show with their enthusiasm, or create those wonderfully unexpected moments that leave everyone smiling.
It is always a delight to see how each couple chooses to celebrate their love and express their personalities.
I remember a cow mooing at exactly the right moment during a ceremony in Melbourne, creating a perfect burst of laughter and joy.
Another memory is when the bride's car, her dad's treasured vintage vehicle, broke down on the way to the ceremony. While he worked to get it running again, an impromptu magic show broke out among the guests. It was the perfect distraction from the heat, the flies, and the longer-than-expected wait, and created a memorable experience in its own right. When the car did finally get fixed and arrive, the applause and collective happiness was a sight and sound to behold
On another occasion, a bride had a challenging moment when a clip on her dress broke. Her bridal party and I gathered around, and with many hands making light work, we managed to laugh, problem-solve, and resolve the situation all at once.
These are the moments that stay with me. Every wedding I officiate finishes with a happy couple, a beautiful celebration, and another treasured memory to add to the ever-growing happiness collection.
