For more than 35 years, my work has been about people — listening, understanding, supporting and helping bring ideas and important moments to life.
My own journey, from working as a lawyer in the former Yugoslavia to building a life and career in Australia, has given me a deep appreciation for people, different cultures and the experiences that shape us.
I bring that experience into my work as a Celebrant and Master of Ceremonies. I take the time to listen, understand what matters and pay attention to the details that can make an occasion feel personal and special.
I bring professionalism and preparation, but just as importantly, warmth, calmness and genuine care for the people I work with.

As a Celebrant
I believe every ceremony should reflect the people at the centre of it. Whether marking a significant milestone, bringing people together to honour someone’s life, or creating a ceremony around a meaningful occasion, I take the time to listen and understand what matters to you.
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every person, family and occasion is different, and I work with you to create something that feels genuine, personal and comfortable.
For me, it's often the little things that make a ceremony meaningful — the stories, the memories, the people who are there and the moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
As an MC
I bring the same calm and practical approach to my work as an MC. I enjoy being the person who helps things run smoothly, keeps the occasion moving and makes people feel comfortable. I know how to read the room, work with different personalities and adapt when something unexpected happens.
For me, being a good MC isn't about being the loudest person in the room.
It's about creating flow, holding the space and helping everyone feel at ease.
I am fluent in English, Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian, and feel very comfortable working with people from different cultural backgrounds.
After spending a lifetime working with people, becoming a Celebrant and MC feels very natural to me.
I get to do what I have always enjoyed — listen, connect with people and be there for moments that matter.

Why I'm a celebrant: There is something incredibly special about being trusted with life’s most meaningful moments. It is a privilege I never take lightly.
