Celebrant background: I am a registered marriage celebrant residing in Ringwood, Victoria.
Your ceremony is more than just the formal part of your wedding day. It's the moment your story is shared, your love is celebrated and your guests become part of the experience. As a Deakin University lecturer and authorised marriage celebrant, I bring professionalism, warmth and exceptional communication skills to every ceremony. By taking the time to understand what's important to you, I create personalised ceremonies that are engaging, memorable and a true reflection of who you are as a couple.
Why I'm a celebrant: I became a celebrant because I genuinely love people, stories, and the moments that bring us together. Working at Deakin University, I've spent many years connecting with people from all walks of life, engaging audiences, and creating meaningful experiences. Becoming a celebrant felt like a natural extension of that, helping couples celebrate one of the most important moments of their lives in a way that feels authentic, personal, and memorable.
Treasured memories: Some of my most treasured memories as a celebrant have come from couples who trusted me to tell their story and guide them through one of life's most meaningful moments. Having former students invite me to officiate their weddings was both unexpected and deeply humbling, but what stays with me most is seeing couples completely immersed in the joy of the day. Whether it's the laughter during a personal story, the emotion of exchanging vows, or the smiles from family and friends, those genuine moments of connection are what make every ceremony so memorable.
Tips : My Top Wedding Tips
1. Make it About You

Your wedding day isn't about tradition, trends, or keeping everyone else happy. It's about celebrating your relationship. Choose the elements that reflect who you are as a couple and don't be afraid to leave out the things that don't.

2. Remember: It's Your Day

There will always be opinions from family and friends. Listen respectfully, but make decisions that feel right for you. Years from now, you'll remember how the day felt, not whether every guest agreed with every choice.

3. Put Someone in Charge

Appoint a trusted friend, family member, or professional coordinator to be your "go-to" person on the day. When questions, hiccups, or last-minute issues arise, they can handle them so you can focus on enjoying every moment.

4. Focus on the Marriage, Not Just the Wedding

The wedding is one day. The marriage is a lifetime. Take a moment during the planning process to reflect on why you're getting married and what this next chapter means to you.

5. Don't Sweat the Small Stuff

Something will probably not go exactly to plan. The flowers might arrive late, the weather may change, or someone might miss a cue. The magic of the day comes from the people and the memories, not perfection.

6. Be Present

Take a few moments throughout the day to pause, look around, and soak it all in. The day goes by incredibly fast, and those quiet moments together are often the ones couples remember most.

7. Write Personal Vows (If You're Comfortable)

Some of the most memorable ceremonies include words straight from the couple's hearts. They don't need to be long or poetic, just genuine.

8. Plan for Fun

Your guests will remember how they felt. Laughter, connection, storytelling, and genuine moments often leave a bigger impact than elaborate decorations or expensive extras.

9. Have a Moment Alone Together

Schedule 10 minutes after the ceremony to simply be together. No guests, no photos, no agenda. Just a chance to take in the fact that you're married.

10. Trust the Professionals You've Chosen

You selected your celebrant, photographer, venue, and suppliers for a reason. Trust them to do what they do best and give yourself permission to enjoy the experience.
and I'd like to say: Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, and I never take for granted the privilege of standing alongside you. From our very first conversation to the moment you say "I do", I am 100% there for you. I'm your biggest supporter, your sounding board, your calm in the chaos, and your enthusiastic cheerleader. I'll be just as excited about your wedding day as you are, and I'll do everything I can to ensure your ceremony feels meaningful, memorable, and uniquely you.
