My name is Antoinette Te Haara, I’m wife to Dai and Mum to two adult daughters, Tahlia & Sophie. I live in Spring Mountain with my husband and our 11 year old Malshi pup, Mia.
Growing up I loved creative writing, debating and public speaking, even competitively - yep, classic nerd! Over the years I put those interests aside and focused on raising my girls while working full time and somehow there I was working in Admin for the last 16 years! Over those years I’d often thought of studying to become a Civil Celebrant so when Covid hit in 2020 and I was stood down from my job, it seemed like I’d been handed the time and opportunity to pursue a career change.
I love the idea of being part of one of the most important days of a couple’s life and to translate my storytelling passion into creating personalised ceremonies that reflects their story. Your ceremony is all about what you want as a couple and I will work with you to bring your vision to life.

Why I'm a celebrant: I'm all about Celebrating Love across all ages and gender identities...an LGBTQI+ ally who supports equal civil rights and gender equality.
Ceremony plays a huge part in marking major milestones in our lives - not only Marriage - and it is a privilege for me to contribute to those milestones in some way.
