Celebrant background: My aim is to work with couples to create a ceremony that is as unique as they are. For some, that will mean a ceremony that's short and sweet, while others may prefer a longer, more heartfelt and romantic celebration. Whatever style you choose, it will always be memorable, relaxed and a fun event!
Over the years, I have had a diverse career spanning teaching & lecturing, management, and event organisation. I am an experienced public speaker and published writer who adores working as a celebrant as it brings together all the things I love: people, music, poetry, rituals, public speaking, and script writing.
Why I'm a celebrant: I decided to become a celebrant after attending the wedding of my two closest friends.
Sadly, the groom was terminally ill, but the wedding was such a celebration of life and love, friendship and closeness, intimacy and commitment, that it will always be one of the most poignant moments of my life. So much so, that it inspired me to choose a new path in life and become a celebrant.

Treasured memories: So far, all the weddings I have done have become truly treasured memories for me!
Some were in public spaces like rotundas or beaches; others were in amazing venues like the Charlotte Chapel of Kantarra House; others were in restaurants or at home or with the stunning views of Sydney Harbour as their backdrop. But in each instance, the joy and radiance on the faces of each couple after they had exchanged their vows, and made their promises to one another are THE precious moments i cherish, and always will.
